Some of the most iconic pictures of Boracay you’ll see on the web is taken at Station 1 in the West Side of Boracay. That’s where the iconic Willy’s Rock is located. You could also see the famous Boracay Sunset from this side of the island.
What’s it like to take pictures of Station 1 during early morning? Here’s what it looks like. This was taken around 7:00 AM on July 19, 2019 during my side trip to Boracay on my way Kalibo, Aklan.
Boracay Island underwent 6 months closure in 2018. When I visited in July 19, 2019, much of the resorts along Station 1, 2 and 3 have not fully cleaned up their beachfront as you can see in this picture.
Some of the resorts along Station 1 in Boracay Island have not fully “repaired” or renovated their structures even after the first closure of Boracay in 2018 as you can see in this picture taken in July 19, 2019. the rubbles are still visible.
One of Boracay Island’s most iconic landmark – Willy’s Rock.
Boracay’s West Side where Stations 1, 2 and 3 are located. Too bad I can’t wait for the famous Boracay Sunset since I have to go back to Manila the same day I’m in Boracay.
Check out my other pictures of my short visit of Boracay in July 19, 2019 below:
